Me and my friends were sitting at a house that wasn’t my house but it felt like my home.
We were going sledding and one of my friends said there was a pothole, so we jumped out of the sled and ran back to the house. A little girl from school was being very rude calling people names. My friends were trying to push her off a big hill into the pothole, we couldn’t push her but I grabbed her and ran to the pothole where there was a witch that was very scary with black curly hair. So we started running away back to the house and locked all for doors but one. So the witch came in the main entrance with 2 vicious dogs with white eyes. And we jumped on the couch and started fighting the dogs while they attacked us. The witch was connected to them and she felt their pain. We killed one of the dogs and the witch disappeared and I woke up.
This dream is rich in symbolism and dynamics, which can reflect a range of emotions, situations, or subconscious thoughts you may be experiencing. Here’s a detailed interpretation:
-
The House:
- The house not being yours yet feeling like home could symbolize comfort in unfamiliar situations or environments. It suggests you may be in a period of transition or encountering new situations that are becoming familiar or comfortable to you.
-
Sledding and the Pothole:
- Sledding often represents a carefree or playful time but can also imply a lack of control as it’s hard to stop a sled. The pothole represents an unexpected obstacle or danger in what seems like an enjoyable journey. This could symbolize a sudden realization of a challenge you're facing or trying to avoid.
-
The Little Girl:
- Encountering a rude child might point to dealing with immaturity or disruptive behaviors in either yourself or those around you. She represents an aspect of confrontation with something or someone that’s causing distress or annoyance.
-
The Witch:
- Witches in dreams often represent fears, manipulation, or a threat that feels beyond one's control. The way she is connected to the dogs indicates her as a controlling or influential presence, possibly reflecting a person or situation negatively impacting your life.
-
The Dogs:
- Dogs often symbolize loyalty or protection, but vicious dogs suggest betrayal, threat, or hostility from someone or something you expected to be safe or supportive. The white eyes imply they are blindly following or being controlled by someone else.
-
Running Back to the House and Locking Doors:
- This suggests a retreat into safety or a psychological defense mechanism when faced with a threat. Locking doors but leaving one open might indicate vulnerability or oversight, trying to protect oneself but feeling insecure about certain defenses.
-
Fighting and the Witch’s Disappearance:
- Fighting the dogs can illustrate confronting your fears or challenges head-on. Destroying one of the dogs causes the witch, a symbol of fear or manipulation, to disappear which suggests overcoming a significant obstacle can diminish the power it holds over you.
-
Waking Up:
- Waking up immediately after overcoming a threat often symbolizes relief and awakening to reality after a stressful period or scenario.
Overall, this dream might be processing feelings of encountering challenges or negative influences in your life, asserting your own strength, facing fears directly, and regaining control over situations that seem overwhelming. It suggests a journey of confronting and overcoming fears, with your friends representing support systems in your life.
